Now that summer's here we thought we'd share some of our favorite NYC locations with the best views we think are great for your corporate outings, incentive groups, company picnics, team building events and more. Since we aim to deliver the most-aesthetically pleasing experiences for every event we thought where you hold your events matter just as much! Here are some spots your guests will dig.
South Street Seaport: Aside from the amazing Brooklyn Bridge views, this well-known Seaport offers a whole range of shopping, food and culture. The cobblestone streets add to the historic vibe of the area, as it dates back to the 17th century. You can stop in at various brand stores and retailers or browse the Fulton Stall Market for handmade goods and food from local artisans. Location: 199 Water St, New York, NY 10038
The High Line: A beautiful, garden-converted railroad track redesigned to form a public landscape is elevated between 10th and 12th Avenues. The High Line boasts a unique style and plant design, while also giving visitors an intimate view of New York’s most interesting architecture on the West Side. Location: 34th Street to Gansevoort Street between 10th and 12th Avenues
Boat Basin Cafe: We think of it as the riviera of Manhattan. This open air cafe overlooks the Hudson River and offers tasty burgers, beer and sandwiches. A great, low-key vibe mixed with stellar New York views make for a lovely, relaxing day out. Location: W 79th St, New York, NY 10024
Belvedere Castle: Now one of Central Park’s visitor centers, this “Victorian folly” is a fantastical structure from 1865 that delivers the highest (and therefore best) view of the park and the city skyline. You can pretend to be a king or queen surveying the land in your kingdom.
Location: Mid-Park at 79th Street
Frying Pan - Lightship: This seasonal (May-October) restaurant is located aboard a Coast Guard lightship docked at Pier 66. The spot is known for its poppin’ bar, and what’s not to love about laughing and basking in the sea breeze with a group of friends? Enjoy views of the Hudson and the West Side of Manhattan while sippin’ some bubbly. Location: Big Red Boat In Park, 207 12th Ave, New York, NY 10001
Governor’s Island: There is a plethora of activities to do on this island, and the view is just an awesome plus on the side. After you visit Castle Williams and the Play Fountains, head over to “The Hills.” Being 70 feet above sea level, The Hills presents a whole new perspective of the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor. Location: Governors Island, New York, NY 11231
Staten Island Ferry: Whether you’re a daily commuter or an exploring tourist, this ferry is an impressive ride! Views of gorgeous lower Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island will assault your senses in the best way, while you take in the Hudson River air. And have no fear, you can ride this ferry free of charge day and night! Location: 4 South Street; New York, NY 10004
